December Charity Painting Competition

It’s that time again, the weather is starting to cool down, and everyone is freaking out over what shiny object to buy for that special person, and how they are going to get time off. Well, what’s one of the best ways to relieve stress? That’s right, painting something that can be used later to bring destruction onto your opponent’s army. In the spirit of North Carolina holiday cheer, we will be having a painting competition where all you have to do is paint a Hero mini, toughness 6 or below, submit a picture, and make a donation to the group’s charity of choice.

Submit proof of donation to your local food bank and the painted mini picture here. https://forms.gle/nW8v29KhLdK1WKqt9

Rules are simple:

  • Find a model you want to paint that is toughness 6 or below
  • Paint the model, pose it, build a diorama around it, whatever you want to do, then submit pictures of it
    • Please make sure the mini can still be used on the battlefield, so if in a diorama, have a removable base slot.
  • Build some lore up, name the guy and how does he fit into your army?
    • This is optional, but will be included for people to vote on.
  • Donate to the charity above and submit your receipt in either picture or PDF format.
  • After December 20th has come and gone, this page will have a gallery of all submissions with a form to submit on who’s minis you think looks the best!
    • Please don’t pick your own, you have to choose someone else!
  • One week later, we will announce the winner! The first-place winner will get their mini turned into a Discord server sticker.
